Herman Kuypers (Velden, 1965) studied drawing at the Academie voor Beeldende Vorming in Tilburg from 1984 to 1990. Since then he has been meticulously drawing chairs in all shapes. Kuypers sees the chair as the piece of furniture with which people are most connected.
