The Amsterdam artist Wilma Laarakker mainly makes drawings and paintings, but is also inspired by objects she finds on the street. Particularly distorted or discolored pieces of wood, nails, old bicycle tires and rusted hooks are the starting point of her art objects. An old-fashioned clothing hook was the origin of the Tintin series. Each Tintin is unique because of the materials found.
