WILLEM VAN MALSEN, 'PEOPLE'

Small artpiece made by Dutch artist Willem van Malsen. He was known for creating wonderful art pieces with found and recyled materials. Such has wooden clothespins, candysticks, etc. 

Willem van Malsen (born 7 January 1940 – 1 June 2005) was a Dutch artist, best known in the 1970s and 1980s. Painter, illustrator, cartoonist, déchirure-maker, inventor and writer. His work can be seen as one big experiment in form, taking many different influences and currents in its own form. A son of the photographer. He worked from 1967 to 1970 from Paris as a political cartoonist for the French magazine L ' Enragé, Smoking and the Hague Netherlands Post. In 1970, he returned to the Netherlands. In the Centraal Museum is an exhibition dedicated to him in 2008.
